Mambo has two schools for the about 2000 children; Mambo A and mambo B. Unfortunately there is a lack of teachers and classrooms.

The Village Development Fund gets income from tourists and gifts. The village made a list with things to do and priorities which are paid from the Village development fund.
The following projects are financed:
Schooltoilets
Repair of the Mambo acces road
Transport fees for a donated microscope
